Open-source CRMs split into two camps: modern, developer-friendly products built in the last few years, and mature suites that have run sales teams for a decade or more. Both are here.
Modern CRMs
1
twenty twentyhq/twenty
Calls itself the open alternative to Salesforce. A clean, Notion-like interface with custom objects and an API. Its license is a modified AGPL, so read it before reselling.
2
laravel-crm krayin/laravel-crm
A free CRM built on Laravel for leads and sales pipelines. MIT-licensed, which makes it the easiest to customise and ship inside your own product.
3
crm frappe/crm
A focused sales CRM from the team behind ERPNext, and the natural choice if you already run Frappe or ERPNext.
Suites with CRM inside
4
odoo odoo/odoo
A full business suite (CRM, invoicing, inventory, website and more). Pick it when the CRM is one part of a bigger system. The community edition is open; some modules are paid.
5
idurar-erp-crm idurar/idurar-erp-crm
ERP and CRM with accounting and invoicing, written in Node.js and React. Lighter than Odoo.
6
SuiteCRM SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM
The long-running open-source CRM, descended from SugarCRM. Very complete for classic sales and service teams.
7
espocrm espocrm/espocrm
A configurable CRM with a strong admin UI, popular with small businesses that want to self-host without writing code.
How to choose
A startup replacing HubSpot or Pipedrive will usually be happiest with Twenty or Krayin. A company that also needs invoicing and stock should look at Odoo or ERPNext with Frappe CRM. Teams used to classic CRMs will find SuiteCRM and EspoCRM familiar.
How we pick: we start from every public GitHub repository with 1,000+ stars, keep the projects that do the job in the title, and read their descriptions and licenses. Stars show community size, not quality, so we also show maintenance status. Nobody paid to be listed.
